Finally have a chance to share about the wonderful time I spend in Taipei, was there for the Emerge conference from the 12th-17th of July.Personally it was a sacrifice for me to go to Taipei as it would meant not only missing a week of SOT but also forgoing one week of salary which to me is quite a bit of money.

Truly the trip was an eye-opener, i served as a counselor-usher-security and helped out with the distribution of food. Although we only slept about 4 hours a night but it was truly worth the sacrifice, seeing what God has been doing among the youth in Taiwan. Many braved the heavy rain & typhoon to come from all over Taiwan to attend the conference.

The conference itself was simply awesome, although this was the 1st time they were organising it in Taiwan but the standard of their performance was simply mind-blowing especially the parade of the cities & the talentime. Imagine with such a high level of performance what would next year be like...

It was great learning and working with Pst Abraham Ku, he left a great impact in my life. In spite of his age (he is 51 years old) but the fire and passion in his heart for the youth in Taiwan is one of the main reason why God is doing such a great work in Taiwan. I had the chance to interact with him, his humility really touched me, although he is 10 years older than Pst Kong, but his willingness to submit and come under the discipleship of Pst Kong is something than made an impression on me.

Another person that made an impact on my on this trip was Liu Genghong, a Pop star who has been attending Pst Abraham's church. Truly he is a Daniel of this age one who is not only talented, funky but also one whose life shines with the glory of God. In spite of being a star on sunday when we went to Pst Abrahm's church we could see him like others queing up to enter the church , he also mingled freely with us and encouraged us.

I believe in my heart in spite of the sacrifices its really been a previlege to be able to go for this trip, to see and learn from the man of God like Pst Kong & Pst Abraham & the Daniels of our age, Sun & Liu Genghong. Looking forward to my next mission trip :)
